REVIEW BEFORE SCRAP

THE WHOLE FORKLIFT CAN TELL A BETTER VALUE STORY

Scrap value emphasizes recoverable material. A direct equipment review can also consider manufacturer, model, capacity, fuel type, hours, mast, tires, attachments, battery, charger, maintenance history, condition, and demand.

That does not guarantee a purchase or price. It means an identifiable, complete truck deserves review before plates are lost, attachments are separated, or a fleet is dismantled.

A PRACTICAL SELLING PROCESS

THREE STEPS. NO GUESSWORK.

1

DOCUMENT THE UNIT

Send all sides, data plate, hour meter, mast, forks, tires, battery or engine, attachments, and known faults.

2

RECEIVE A REVIEW

The buyer considers identity, configuration, condition, demand, location, access, loading, and freight.

3

CONFIRM THE DEAL

For an approved purchase, price, payment, title, loading, carrier, pickup window, and responsibilities are written first.

Owner-supplied forklift mast and equipment view
Show the mast, carriage, forks, chains, hoses, tires, and any damage.
Owner-supplied forklift equipment at a pickup location
Site access and loading conditions matter as much as the truck’s specifications.
Owner-supplied heavy material-handling equipment
Heavy-capacity and specialized lifts need model, capacity, dimensions, weight, and carrier planning.

DOCUMENT BEFORE MOVING

PRESERVE THE DATA PLATE, ATTACHMENTS & CONDITION STORY

Start with the complete truck or fleet. Keep chargers with electric units, identify batteries by voltage and age, preserve keys, record hours, photograph attachment plates, and list every unit separately. Explain what runs, what moves, what lifts, and what needs help before anyone prices transportation.

Do not operate unsafe equipment or take photographs from a raised mast. Qualified site personnel control operation, battery work, fuel systems, loading, rigging, and safety. If a truck is blocked, disabled, outdoors, at a job site, or subject to a removal deadline, say so at the beginning.

A direct review may consider reuse and component demand in addition to scrap recovery, but not every truck qualifies. Identity, configuration, capacity, hours, condition, location, loading, freight, ownership, and current demand all matter. No purchase, price, or pickup schedule is guaranteed before written review and approval.
